I am 4 months pregnant and when I got this I was dying to try it out...since my dog wouldn't hold still (its a joke) I grabed my FIVE year old boy and made him do it. SUPRISE SUPRISE, It held him perfectly!! He loved it and we felt secure enough I was able to piggy back him up the stairs and everything. We tried the font position too but that was ackward because of my belly and he kept moving his head because he thought I would and a kiss him (boys...)

We are planning a trip to London and I was thinking this would be perfect to take to the Airport and just have him strapped to me. I am terrified of him running off. This would make everyone feel better since I know he'll be tired so he can rest, my nerves would be at ease and my husband won't have to be screaming at him to walk faster. Dark Chocolate organic carrier

This is absolutely the best carrier I have found. In fact, this is the second one I bought. I started with the Baby Bjorn and it started hurting my back and my daughter outgrew it by the time she 5-6 months old. I tried the Infantino side carrier, and I couldn't wear it for more than half an hour before it started hurting. So I did my research and found the Ergo, and couldn't be happier. My daughter flew back and forth to Dallas (2 planes each way) in the Ergo and was able to take a bottle, sleep and play happily the whole time. We just went to Disney and I wore my daughter all day. She was happy and so was I, it was easy to get her out when we thought she would want to face front, and just as easy to get her back in. After 4 days on wearing my 18 lb daughter I had no back pain at all. Ergo Baby Sport Carrier

If you walk a lot and want to bring your baby this one is for you.

Some folks prefer front facing position when carrying in front of you, but this one does not do that. You have to use the rear carry position.

The key to this one is the fact that when properly worn, all the weight of the baby is on your hips, just like a good trecking backpack.

Other carriers leave your shoulders dead after an hour, but we can walk forever with this one. If you backpack and want to have the same technology that your pack has (aka waist belt) then this is for you.

Ergo Baby Carrier - Black/Retro

I love, love, love this carrier!!! It was a lifesaver for me since I commute to work in the city and my daughter goes to childcare at my job. I couln't even imagine riding the subway with a stroller and diaper bag and my bag and the baby. On top of all of that I have a bad back and would be in excruciating pain if I even tried to do it. I didn't order this through amazon, I went directly to the Ergo Baby website and ordered it, but I highly recommend it no matter where you get it. This carrier doesn't hurt my back because the child's weight is distributed evenly on my hips rather than my lower back. The straps don't dig into my shoulders and are quite comfortable. My husband wears it as well and loves it too. He picked out the Baby Bjorn carrier and when our daughter was almost six months he switched to my Ergo Baby because his back was hurting so much. The Ergo Baby goes everywhere we go, it stays in my car just in case I ever need it. My daughter loves getting in it and can fall asleep easily in it. Buy it!!
