My 6-month-old sucks on these or leans against them when he is getting tired. Nice to be able to remove them for washing. I also pulled one off and used it to cover the airline seatbelt buckle that was threaded over his carseat one time because he could reach the buckle and was pulling it loose. I attached one of these pads around it and he just left it alone. Nice added benefit!

These pads are a terrific idea! My teething 6-month old chews on these whenever she's in her Ergo and they don't irritate her sensitive cheeks!
